We currently recruiting for 7.5 tonne Home delivery drivers to work on our clients contracts across the wider Bolton , Salford and Trafford areas.
The role Home delivery
Working on one or more contracts you will be responsible for the delivery of DIY , Construction materials and Bathroom supplies. this will vary depending on contract. You will be operating either 7.5 tonne box waggons , fitted with tail lift.
You will be working in a double manned capacity and there will be a requirement to work in teams to ensure effective point of delivery to customers. Handball involved and this could have an element of heavier than usual lifting. The normal working day could consist of anywhere between 10 and 20 deliveries.
There is work available over a 7 day period.
Working start times 05:00 am to 11:00 am.
Pay - depending on class type of driver.
7.5 tonne - 13.00 per hour Paye
Duration of the role - Temporary and ongoing roles available
Immediate starts available for the right candidates.
You must meet all the below criteria to be considered for this role;
Have a full and valid 7.5 tonne licence with no more than 6 points on licence.
Have at least 6 months of specific category held on licence.
No DR , DD , IN Endorsements.
Experience working on Home delivery networks before would be an advantage although not essential .
Good physically able to lift certain weights
