Randstad Education Liverpool is searching for a Maths Teacher for a school situated in the Liverpool area for a long-term position.
Responsibilities:
Must deliver Maths lessons up to KS4 GCSE
Plan, prepare, and deliver suitable lessons within the specialist subject area, ensuring accessibility for all students
Provide support to colleagues within the department as needed
Organize the classroom to establish a positive teaching environment, collaborating with relevant teaching assistants and support staff to build effective relationships with pupils and colleagues
Uphold discipline using various classroom management techniques in alignment with the school's behavior management policy
Monitor pupil progress and maintain records on their development
Attend meetings, parent's evenings, and in-service training days as required by the school, contributing to all areas to the best of your abilityRequirements:
Hold a qualification with or leading to UK Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs and overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply) and a relevant degree.
Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process
Demonstrate the motivation to achieve and add value to a school
