Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a Ruabon-based manufacturing company in their search for a Tooling Engineer.
For the successful Tooling Engineer, our client is offering:
Starting salary of £27,000 per annum
Day positions - Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 17.15 pm - Friday 4.15 pm
Permanent role
Every second Friday nonworking
Development opportunities within the company
Reduction on gym memberships
The role - Tooling Engineer:
Key member of the Automation team, being involved in the production of parts using various production techniques
Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings
Program XYZ bed mill using XYZ ProtoTrak software
Produce machined components to be used on our in-house produced machines using various manufacturing techniques
Performing 2nd Op’s
Maintaining machine shop equipment through a TPM program
Assist in the final assembly of our automation machines
What our client is looking for in a Tooling Engineer:
Completed Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing/Machining - ESSENTIAL
Be able to carry out manual machining using a Mill and Lathe
Works well independently and within a team environment
Previous work experience in a machine shop environment - ESSENTIAL
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings - ESSENTIAL
