Workshop manager-
A great opportunity to work for a market leader.
The ideal candidate will have come from a welding back ground with MIG & TIG experience.
You must have proven management/supervisory experience.
As a workshop manager, your day will be the supervision of a number of welders.
Knowledge of pipe welding and fabrication desirable
Liaise with the production manager to plan the work flow.
Manage production to maximise efficiency.
Make sure the welders have the correct fabrications for their shift.
Work with the welders to minimise any downtime.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the workshop flow.
As a workshop manager you will get the chance to implement your own ideas, if it is to the benefit of the company.
You must know all areas of health and safety
Continuous improvement is key.
