The Company:

We are working with an International Construction Consultancy with offices across the world. They provide a range of services for their clients including Advisory, Dispute Resolution, Expert Witness, Quantum and Delay services. They provide pre-construction, live support and advice to their clients managing claims, resolving disputes, assessing potential entitlements and possible liabilities, and act as expert witnesses in legal proceedings.

The Role:

Due to an impressive amount of work in the pipeline, they are looking to recruit a Director for their Delay function.

The role will report in to one of their Managing Principles.

The role includes project planning, project control and retrospective delay analysis services across the full project lifecycle including:

You will develop and implement the company's overall strategy for the delay division, in alignment with the organisational goals and objectives.

Lead a team of planning and delay analysis professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success.

Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of planning and delay analysis services to clients.

Conduct thorough analysis of project schedules, identifying potential delays, and developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.

Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to assess and resolve delay-related issues and disputes.

Prepare and present comprehensive reports, including delay analysis findings, recommendations, and potential impact on project timelines and budgets.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to planning and delay analysis, and incorporate them into the company's methodologies.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities for business expansion.

You:

To be successful in this role you will need to have operated at Director / Associate Director level for a similar organisation.

Previous, extensive experience in Forensic Delay Analysis and Expert Witness work and be able to undertake this work independently while providing training to others.
