Job Purpose Summary:

The Application Engineer will aid the Sales, Project Managers and Application team with the implementation of Audio, Video, and Lighting designs. We are seeking a skilled and innovative candidate who is personable, good at working in a team and who has a great working knowledge of professional Audio systems.

This role requires expertise in creating effective audio designs that enhance the impact and immersivity of entertainment venues for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, creative vision, and the ability to bring artistic concepts to life through cutting-edge audio installations. We cover venues from bars and shops, through theme parks, and all the way up to stadiums and arenas.

 Key Responsibilities:

Assist to create/commission system design details for varied installation projects.
Support and liaise with sales team in reference to quoting and technical requirements at the early stages of projects through to finalising quotations.
Responsible for field service call outs and maintenance of integrations across existing and developing projects, with time away (including occasional weekends), requiring extensive travel within the UK, to cover on site working for the commissioning of systems.
Assist with client training experiences, ensuring installations are being effectively operated by the end user.
Offer remote support via software platforms like TeamViewer etc.
Assist and support Integration's project managers in delivering projects to agreed specifications.
Liaise effectively and professionally with third parties and customers to provide a high standard of support and customer service, adhering to company standards.
Assist the sales team to build and manage customer relationships, passing on leads and market intelligence.
Familiarising yourself with developments in digital technology and related installations technology and how that can be applied to our projects to enhance our offerings or develop new business.
Experience and Skills Required:

3-5 years relevant experience.
Knowledge of professional audio/video systems.
Strong knowledge of live/installed audio, familiarity with simulation systems such as ArrayCalc and Soundvision, with additional integration knowledge of AV.
Knowledge and experience of equipment installations design, and a familiarity with;

Programming of digital processors, such as QSC Q-Sys, or other DSP,
Strong understanding of networking systems such as Cisco,
An understanding and experience of digital audio networking protocols such as Dante,
Some experience/proficiency in CAD is desirable, such as AutoCAD and/or Sketchup.

Ability to code in Lua and script.
Ability to understand and interpret schematics, electrical drawings and building plans.
Effective administration skills, together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, and Word), and Office 365 is essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with people of all professional levels.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment, whilst remaining calm and efficient under pressure.
Excellent problem solving, team building and planning and decision-making skills.
Presentation and demo experience.
Intricate attention to detail.
Ability to travel extensively within UK, with time away on site (including occasional weekends), as and when required.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
