Our client, based in the Greater Manchester, area are looking for a Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager with precision engineering experience.
This is a permanent role paying £(phone number removed) per annum + Car Allowance + Commission.
This role can either be Office, Hybrid or home based with time spent out on the road visiting clients.
You must have experience of sales and marketing within the engineering sector, ideally from precision engineering, with an understanding of CNC machining principles.
This is a stand-alone role, so requires someone to be able to work independently and manage their own day, with support from the Management team.
They are looking for a Sales Engineer who can build on existing client relationships, whilst also opening doors to help expand their client base within the subcontractor Machining sector.
Sales Engineer: Duties & Requirements:
-Bring in new business and develop existing relationships.
-Able to manage own diary and happy to spend 2-3 days out of the office meeting new clients, networking & attending trade industry events in order to attract new buying clients.
-Carry out relevant marketing to promote clients capabilities, vias LinkedIn, Social Media, Trade Fairs etc.
-Ability to carry out sales presentations to prospective clients.
-Provide sales forecasts to the management team.
-Data Analysis & report writing.
