Are you an experienced Vehicle Service Technician interested in a new opportunity to grow your career? ASL Technical are now working with a leading vehicle head office service centre as they look to expand their Service and Repair workshop team.
Main Purpose of Automotive Service Technician
Complete scheduled vehicle servicing and repair in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues.
Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner, in line with manufacturer requirements.
Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service.
Conduct electronic visual health checks on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers.
Completing the necessary documentation in respect to warranty work. Maintain a clean and safe work bay.

Qualifications and Experience
Do you have the required experience for the Automotive Vehicle Servicing Technician?
Ideally qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
Experience gained within a franchised automotive dealership, and demonstrable skill levels as an automotive service technician.
Skills and Personal Characteristics Required
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
Outstanding organization and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
A calm considered approach with exceptional communication skills.
