Payrate: £11.44phr - £15phr experience dependant
 
Are you an experienced TIG Welder with expertise in working with stainless steel and aluminium? Look no further! A leading manufacturing company in Tamworth, is seeking a skilled and dedicated TIG Welder to join their team.
 
Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding operations on stainless steel and aluminium components, ensuring high-quality welds and meeting precise specifications.
Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements.
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on the materials being welded.
Inspect and ensure the quality of welded components, identifying and rectifying any defects or imperfections.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and practices. 
Requirements:

Proven experience as a TIG Welder, with a strong focus on precision and quality in working with stainless steel and aluminium.
Proficient in TIG welding techniques specifically for stainless steel and aluminium materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
Attention to detail and ability to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in welding would be advantageous.
