FPS are recruiting for an experienced Estimator for our prestigious construction client in the Glasgow area.
A construction company known for excellence. Due to continued growth within the business, they are looking to add to their Estimating team.
Overview:
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000Role: Estimator Contribute to our project success by preparing precise cost estimates and competitive bids.
Responsibilities:
Analyse project specs and drawings
Collaborate with stakeholders
Evaluate costs and develop budgets
Mitigate risks and recommend strategies
Present estimates to clients
Stay updated on industry trends
Participate in bid negotiations
Qualifications:
A recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related subject
Proven construction Estimator experience - preferably with a Main Contractor
Analytical and math skills
Estimation software proficiency
Strong communication and negotiation
Attention to detail
Construction knowledge
Team player
