Contract Scotland has a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Buyer to join our client based in Stirling on a full-time, permanent basis. As a member of the procurement team, you will have good administration skills and ideally come from a plant hire environment or similar. 

This is a busy role where you will support the team to deliver an excellent plant provision to the wider business. This would suit a proactive, process-driven person with good communication skills. The role itself will involve:

Administration and preparation of requests for proposals and quotations utilising suppliers from the appropriate company Approved Suppliers Database
Raise Purchase Orders for Materials and Plant Hire requirements in line with company policies and procedures
Liaise with site management to resolve any supplier issues
Reports on-site set-up activities and supplier performance
Monitor the supplier database to ensure all details are correct and up-to-date
Provide regular reports on procurement betterment and supplier performance
Engage with suppliers and sites over loss and damage costs
Oversee supply chain agreements and vendor relationships; renewals, performance; spend; strengths; weaknesses and opportunities
Manage and support supplier invoice queries
