We have fantastic opportunities for hard-working and dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join the team at a small residential home for young people with
Emotional Behaviour Disorder, Challenging Behaviours and Mental Health. Our client, based in the Dorset/Hampshire area, creates a welcoming and encouraging environment where young people can flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.We have full-time, permanent roles for waking nights for 40 hours per week. Shifts are (Apply online only) working on a 4 on/4 off rota basis. Salary is £22,050-£24,300 depending on experience and if you hold a diploma in children's health and social care. Your new role
As a Children's Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring the health and safety of young people is maintained
Promoting and encouraging independence
Ensure that the needs of the young people are met at all time
Actively promote and develop learning whilst participating in activities within and outside the serviceWorking as part of a team and creating a positive, safe and fun atmosphereWhat you'll need to succeed

Be a calm, compassionate and caring individual with a genuine passion for caring for others.
Full UK right to work - no sponsorship
Understanding of Emotional Behaviour Disorder and Challenging Behaviours advantageous
Be flexible and reliable
Level 3 NVQ desirable
Recent experience working with young people is advantageous. However, full training will be provided.
You must have a full UK driving licence and own transport
