Are you an experienced and passionate educator looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs? Our all-through SEN School in Crawley is seeking a dedicated KS3 Nurture Teacher to join our team in September!

Key Responsibilities:

* Support KS3 pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated communication, behaviour, and learning difficulties.

* Collaborate with the therapy team and a supportive leadership team to develop and deliver personalized learning plans.

* Promote functional life skills and emotional regulation among students.

* Develop and deliver effective outreach programmes.

* Implement excellent teaching methods to support the learning and development of students.

Essential Skills and Experience:

* QTS or equivalent.

* Experience teaching pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), including sensory impairments, in an SEN environment.

* Proficiency in Makaton, TEACCH, PECS, Intensive Interaction, and Attention Autism.

* High expectations of both self and students.

* Effective communication skills.

* Proven track record of excellent teaching methods.

* Experience through trainee placements or full-time employment in teaching SEN pupils in KS3.
