Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter
Location: NG14, Hoveringham
Salary: £17.41ph + Shift allowance
Working Hours: Days 06.00am-14.00pm / Afters 14.00pm-22.00pm / Nights 22.00pm-06.00am

Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Maintenance Fitter
Perform mechanical repairs independently and proactively.
Diagnose faults and conduct repairs, understanding system operations and components.
Complete planned preventative maintenance and adhere to manufacturers' guidelines.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
Conduct equipment inspections in compliance with regulations.
Mechanical Maintenance Fitter should report mechanical defects promptly and ensure proper PPE usage.
Experience/knowledge requirements for the Mechanical Fitter role:
Time served qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 / or equivalent.
Welding MIG and MMA, ideally BS 4872 or higher.
Hot works - Oxygen and Propane.
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
Abrasive wheels.
Working at height (harness trained).
Workshop machinery competent.
