Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager for a 9-12 month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience through tailored supply chain solutions, optimize inventory usage, and proactively address supply risks. This role requires a strong background in supply chain optimization, planning, and management within the Aerospace industry, with a focus on High Mix-Low Volume manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand and Customer Analysis:

Conduct demand and customer profile analysis.
Collaborate with Product, Demand Planning, and Manufacturing teams to understand and fulfill customer requirements.
Customer Experience Improvement:

Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain solutions that improve customer satisfaction.
Capacity and Supply Risk Management:

Monitor plant capacity based on customer demand and sales forecasts.
Identify and address mid/long-term supply risks proactively.
Provide advance alerts to customer care/sales teams regarding potential long-term supply impacts.
Supply Status Monitoring:

Regularly follow up on plant supply status to ensure timely deliveries.
Address and mitigate any supply risks promptly.
Supplier Collaboration:

Collaborate with key suppliers and critical partners to manage factors impacting the supply chain.
Inventory Optimization:

Review and optimize MRP parameters to improve days on hand and inventory turns.
SIOP Coordination:

Actively coordinate the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) team for monthly reviews.
Provide clear information on demand, inventory, and supply chain status.
Decision-Making and Escalation:

Lead decision-making processes regarding supply plans in coordination with plant leadership.
Escalate and address critical issues such as capacity and supplier constraints.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Professional Experience:

Minimum of 8 years' experience in supply chain optimization and planning in a comparable environment.
Minimum of 5 years in true people management, with direct reports of 10-15. Skilled in people development and familiar with Kronos.
Must have SAP ERP experience.
Proven experience managing a team through complex situations.
Must have experience in the Aerospace industry (manufacturing).
Must have experience with High Mix-Low Volume manufacturing.
