Our client designs, builds and maintains exceptional gardens and external spaces for high end properties in West/North London, Surrey and the M4 corridor. Our extensive and varied portfolio of beautiful gardens needs an exceptional gardener who is committed to delivering a quality horticultural service to our clients. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a recognised horticultural qualification and proven experience gardening at the highest level, both private domestic and commercial sites.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
The Job:
You will work together with other team members to maintain various sites. Your duties will include:
* All aspects of horticulture including specialised
* Lawn care
* Pesticides / chemical applications and record keeping (PA1 & PA6 preferable but not essential) – subject to training and supervision as required
* General Maintenance of hard surfaces & furniture within the gardens
* Tending to beds, borders, and containers
* Pruning and trimming
* Maintenance of irrigation systems and cleaning of water systems
* Strimming
* Weeding
* Safe operation of machinery
The Person:
* 3+ years Garden maintenance experience.
* UK Driving Licence is essential
* A good knowledge of plants. (RHS in Horticulture would be preferred)
* PA1/PA6 desirable but not essential
* Clear communication skills.
* Organised and professional in your approach
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work independently
