RTL Group are looking for a business development manager to work for a leading civil engineering contractor.
In this pivotal role, as part of the senior management team, you’ll support in steering strategy, driving our continued growth and building a strong brand awareness.
Here's what you'll be doing:
* Identify and secure lucrative tender opportunities: Leverage your project experience in maritime engineering and offshore to spearhead our tendering process.
* Forge strategic partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with key clients and industry players, expanding our global network.
* Stay one step ahead: Analyse competitor activity and identify new markets and service offerings for the company to pursue.
* Collaborate for success: Work hand-in-hand with the Managing Director and other departments to maximise opportunities and achieve shared goals.
Essential skills and criteria?
* Maritime Industry Expertise: Proven track record in maritime/civil engineering and offshore projects, with a strong network of industry contacts.
* Proven Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in securing tenders and developing winning business development plans.
* Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and through presentations, fostering positive interpersonal relationships.
* Strategic Visionary: A strategic thinker with the ability to create compelling marketing and presentation materials.
* Relationship Builder: Proven ability to leverage strong networking skills to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
* Self-Directed Achiever: Highly motivated and capable of independently managing workload to achieve exceptional results.
