Are you a seasoned Senior Planner with a diverse portfolio of project experiences, ready to lead and innovate in the construction industry? Do you have a track record of building strategic relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors while delivering successful projects? Are you adept at utilising your in-depth knowledge of pre-construction and construction processes, along with advanced planning techniques, to troubleshoot and navigate complex project challenges? One of my large main contractor clients is after a Senior Planner to lead projects across South London where you will be able to work on a wide variety of projects and continue to build your career. You will be someone with a diverse range of experiences, offering strategic insights and expertise across various construction projects. This role requires flexibility in location and offers hybrid working options.

Responsibilities:

Lead projects with a variety of experience across different project types.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
Utilise in-depth knowledge of pre-construction and construction processes.
Apply forensic planning techniques and contract law expertise.
Oversee the entire project process from inception to completion.
Possess conceptual planning abilities and wealth of construction technology knowledge.
Lead meetings on program-related matters.
Develop strategic relationships with consultants and specialists.
Utilise planning-related software literacy and solutions for programs/schedules.
Act as a "radar" early warning system and troubleshoot issues proactively.Requirements:

Previous experience working for a main contractor in the UK on construction projects.
Flexibility in terms of location and willingness to work hybrid.
Experience as a trainee planner/assistant planner or relevant experience upon arrival.
In-depth knowledge of the pre-construction and construction process.
Exposure to forensic planning techniques and contract law.
Conceptual planning abilities and wealth of construction technology knowledge.
Conversant in value management and exponent of buildability.
Expertise in planning-related software and solutions.
Ability to troubleshoot and act as an early warning system.Benefits:
