A popular school located in Barnet is interested in securing a Geography teacher job starting this September 2024.
The ideal Geography teacher will be joining the Humanities department and there is 1 other Geography teacher within the department. You will be teaching a weekly timetable and will be teaching using AQA.
Students and teachers are supported, various activities are run throughout the year to engage and incorporate Geography across the curriculum, assessment sheets are used to record the level of achievement and monitor progress and targets are set.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND GEOGRAPHY TEACHER CONTRACT:
A medium-size secondary school
Geography teacher taught at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4
The solid Geography teacher department

This is a full-time position including planning and marking

THE RIGHT GEOGRAPHY TEACHER WILL BE:
Hold a degree and a teaching qualification
Confident with teaching GCSE Geography teacher
Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
THE SUCCESSFUL GEOGRAPHY TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Exceptional degree relating to Geography
Teaching qualification
Eligibility to work in the UK
Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
Salary paid to scale - GBP190 - GBP62.45 per day Outer London pay
