As an expanding specialist lender based in Central London, we are seeking an experienced Internal Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will support the enhancement and growth of their panel of financial advisers / brokers alongside increasing the Loan book. We are anticipating significant growth of the business over the next few years. As an Internal Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and growth of the loan book. Proactively identifying Brokers and Introducers throughout the country to gain referrals for bridging and development finance.
You will be responsible for liaising with the existing pool of Brokers and proactively communicating with new Brokers to advertise and introduce our existing product range. Additional duties include reviewing and recommending new enquiries received from Brokers to the underwriting team. Interrogating the Broker’s customer base to offer products that are suitable to them and within our clients appetite. Reviewing the existing product range to establish enhancements and improvements, marketing them to brokers and social media as required.
You will work closely with the Head of Underwriting & Board of Directors to exhaust all leads and will need a proactive and consultative approach. Being the primary contact with brokers to ensure origination and execution of all finance deals to meet our targets.
The ideal candidate is expected to hold previous experience working as a Business Development Manager (a minimum of 3 years) within the Bridging Lending OR Specialist Finance Industry. The ideal candidate is expected to complete minimum £18M loans in the next 12 months. Candidates will be required to work in our London Office but may travel to Brokers in the surrounding area from time to time
