Area/Operations Manager

Area/Operations Manager, South West London £60k + discretionary bonus

We are looking for a passionate Area/Operations Manager with a strong background in multi-site, seasonal environments to join this independent family run company.
The sites across London produce fresh, locally sourced food including grab & go items, handmade pizzas, homemade cakes and bakery items as well as locally roasted coffee and can get extremely busy depending on seasonality.

As the Area/Operations Manager, you will
* Manage and oversee 4/5 sites based around South West London
* Liaise and work with your Catering Managers across the sites to drive and maintain standards
* Liaising and communicating with suppliers, councils etc
* Inspire and motivate the teams, encouraging innovation and fresh ideas
* Report directly to the Company Directors
* Oversee financial aspects, maintenance issues as well as be hands on and supporting your managers where needed

Working days are 5/7 and will include most weekends particularly during the summer period

As well as being passionate about Catering & Hospitality, you would
* be a Group Manager, Area/Operations Manager or Multi-site Manager within catering & hospitality
* have a proven background in multisite retail catering or similar
* demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop a team
* show excellent financial acumen with a commercial outlook
* have a positive outlook with the ability to solve problems in a rational and logical manner
* be able to work majority of weekends
