SuperCare - Ilford is looking for a skilled and experienced Team Lead (with 2 years of experience) to oversee operations at a new residential children home in Ilford. Flexibility is crucial, as the role involves effectively managing changing needs. The job involves leading shifts, creating support plans for young people, and promoting their well-being in line with the Children Act 1989. Duties and Responsibilities
Main Duties:

Interact directly with young people, offering essential support and care on a rotational shift basis.
Work together with young people, their social workers, careers, and relevant agencies to organize, monitor, and assess Care Plans, risk assessments, and placement plans, aiding positive transitions to independence.
Take charge of maintaining establishment standards concerning health, safety, primary care, and addressing individual youth requests and behavior during shifts.
Carry out administrative tasks and maintain records associated with key responsibilities and daily operations of the home.
Empower young people to gradually take charge of their lives by keeping them informed, involving them in planning, and supporting their journey toward increased independence.
Lead assigned shifts.
Additional Duties:

To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
To work shifts including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis as required
Flexibility to work at other properties as directed by management.

Household Responsibilities:

Contribute to household maintenance tasks.
Maintain the physical environment and equipment.
Manage allocated funds for specific purposes.
Report necessary repairs promptly and ensure they are addressed.
Ensure young people receive nutritious meals prepared by staff.
Conduct health and safety checks in line with policies, Ofsted regulations, and standards.
Personal:

Stay informed about best practices to improve skills, knowledge, and experience, following a personal development plan.
Utilise regular professional supervision for growth and support.
Report instances of wrongdoing or evidence suggesting such behaviours to appropriate authorities.

Pay: £16.00-£19.18 per hour

Experience:

Residential Children Home: 2 years (required)
License/Certification:

Level 3 NVQ or above (required)
