Position Summary: The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving sales and providing excellent customer service. This individual will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering suitable catering equipment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the catering and hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation:
* Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
* Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
* Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
* Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Customer Service:
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
* Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
* Assist clients in selecting the appropriate equipment to meet their needs.
Product Knowledge:
* Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's product range.
* Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in catering equipment.
* Provide clients with expert advice and recommendations.
Sales Administration:
* Prepare and deliver accurate sales quotes and contracts.
* Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
* Participate in sales meetings and provide feedback on market conditions and client needs.
* Attend industry trade shows and events to network and promote the company.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in sales, preferably in the catering equipment or related industry.
* Strong understanding of catering equipment and the needs of clients in the hospitality sector.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
* Experience in the hospitality, food service, or catering industry.
* Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
