We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at HMNB Portsmouth.
The working hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:15pm, and Friday 7:30am-12:30pm.
Boden Group deliver facilities maintenance services and project works to the Ministry of Defence and commercial clients at multiple sites in the South West and South East.

Duties you will be performing:
* Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, keeping them in prime condition.
* Swiftly diagnose and resolve reactive electrical issues.
* Undertake electrical installations with finesse and precision.
* Perform general power and lighting repairs, keeping systems running smoothly.
* Conduct thorough electrical testing and inspections to ensure everything is up to code.
* Keep safety paramount by undertaking emergency light testing and repairs.
* Champion health, safety, and environmental procedures always. •
* Work effectively unsupervised and as part of a small team.
* Remain up to date in knowledge with the latest regulations.
* There is a requirement to be a part of the on-call rota with this role.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
* A recognised apprenticeship and/or an appropriate City and Guilds/NVQ in an Electrical discipline
* 18th Edition
* Installation experience
Desirable:
* Willingness to work towards gaining Testing and Inspection qualification. Desirable:
* City and Guilds 2391, 2394 or 2395 Testing and Inspection • IPAF • PASM
Skills Profile:
* Must be able to gain and retain MoD Security clearance
* Must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
