Exciting Project Manager Opportunity in Fareham!
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next challenge?
We're partnering with a prestigious, award-winning regional construction company known for its excellence across multiple sectors. This company, with projects ranging from £1M to £30M, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team for a major scheme in the Fareham area.
The initial buildings comprising £15m of new shell and core retail outlets with offices above , plus a community centre, public house and external landscaping - these buildings will be of a very high quality finish inside and out and be part of a larger ongoing development.
This contractor / developer is regionally based and will be responsible for building multiple phases of work here over the next 10 plus years - future buildings include offices, schools, scientific and industrial buildings, a hotel and more commercial office space.
Details:
* Responsible for the successful delivery of buildings from the late preconstruction phase, through commencement on site, and during the construction phase
* Contribute to detailed design development; ensuring plans meet project specifications and standards.
* Engage in procurement processes, planning, and programming of works
* Lead and manage the site team, ensuring efficient and effective operations
* Ensure all health & safety protocols are strictly followed on-site
* Maintain high standards of quality assurance throughout the construction process
* Work alongside the Project Director
* Report on project progress, including production and budget, to stakeholders
* Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
* Ensure smooth handover of completed buildings to clients
* You will retain autonomy and ownership for your own buildings
Requirements:
* Ideally come from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
* Degree qualified or carpentry trade background
* Experience on delivering high end construction projects
* 10 plus years of experience in the industry and several as Project Manager
* Proven experience on similar scale projects
* A keen eye for detail, high standards and expectation for quality
* Driven and proactive attitude will be well rewarded
