Job Title: QA/QC Inspector
Location: Burton Upon Trent (Office-Based with Site Visits)
Salary: £50,000 per annum

Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced QA/QC Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably within the structural steel industry. Experience in paint and weld inspection and protocols will be highly advantageous. This role involves both office-based work and site visits, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures and protocols.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of steel fabrication and construction sites to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
3. Perform detailed paint and weld inspections, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
4. Identify and document any quality issues or non-conformances, and work with the project team to implement corrective actions.
5. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits.
6. Provide training and support to project teams on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC, with a preference for experience in the structural steel industry.
2. Strong knowledge of paint and weld inspection protocols and procedures.
3. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
