In this multifaceted position, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks essential to the smooth running of our finance department. From managing sales invoices for boarding fees to processing refunds and exploring additional funding streams for parents, you'll be at the heart of our financial processes.

Your role will involve maintaining clear records of debtors and initiating reminders for fee payments, collaborating closely with senior staff to ensure outstanding payments are followed up promptly. You'll also facilitate banking services for students, updating records and managing cash top-ups as needed, ensuring seamless financial transactions on a daily basis.

Your expertise will extend to setting up and maintaining parent payment records on our academy's payment system, SCOPAY, as well as overseeing account transfers and accurately recording income from various sources. With a keen eye for detail, you'll manage purchase orders, resolve delivery queries, and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

As a vital member of our team, you'll collaborate with budget holders to share financial reports on a regular basis, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making processes.

Additionally, you'll provide support to our central finance team as needed, ensuring alignment with organisational financial goals and objectives.

With responsibilities ranging from managing petty cash and overseeing the Brymore lottery to processing claims and communicating with stakeholders, your role will be dynamic and varied. Your professionalism and communication skills will be key as you correspond with staff, parents, and suppliers, representing Brymore Academy with integrity and efficiency.

Moreover, you'll play an active role in supporting school events, including Open Days and weekend activities, handling cash takings with accuracy and diligence.
