This is what you will be doing

As a Employment Solicitor, you will:

As a Employment Solicitor/Legal Executive in the Employment Team, you'll deliver high-standard legal advice to clients in a commercially astute manner, always ensuring outstanding client service. Working with both Employees and Businesses, working on both contentious and non-contentious matters. You'll also have at least 1 years PQE undertaking all aspects of employment law including:

Tribunal representation for employees and businesses
Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
Addressing employee relations issues and document drafting
Developing and implementing policies and procedures
Conducting due diligence and providing corporate support
Managing restrictive covenants and related matters

What you will need for this job as an Employment Solicitor:

Manage a caseload of files effectively, dealing with cases and transactions under supervision.
Directly engage with clients to take instructions and ensure full understanding to deliver on client expectations.
Work closely with partners and senior lawyers to develop client relationship skills.
Actively develop relationships with smaller clients.
Scope and price work effectively under supervision.
Raise personal profile and attract delegated work; take responsibility for aspects of BD projects within the department.
Contribute to business development projects.
Research and draft articles, assist in the production of marketing materials.
Begin to develop a network of clients, contacts, and potential referrers; attend relevant networking events.
Manage time recording, WIP monitoring, and billing consistently.
Work toward personal and team KPIs, measuring performance against these.
