HOURS:

40hours a week- Monday-Friday- ON Shift rota with team of 10

TEAM:

10 currently, including a manager.

TRAVEL:

On the road and 1 day a week from home for admin day.

First 1/2 and final 1/2 journey to work is paid when travelling for work.

Company car provided and personal use.

A van can provided if not for personal use.

Only 1/2 an hour non-payable when travelling to site.

Full expenses will be paid.

Overnight stay will be paid.

FLEXIBLE WORKING:

80% travelling to site - 20% home based.

Candidates will report into the Devon office but will be a rarity to be required there.

2 days when starting for onboarding, get equipment, tech etc.

The chosen candidate needs to be comfortable with travelling to client's site within their region but must be comfortable with the fact the company work with client's national level.

They, of course, put the candidate's postcode into account when sorting out rotas for the team.

The main purpose of this job...

My clients dedicated water and air hygiene division has a proud and knowledgeable heritage dealing with every aspect of water and air compliance, to provide high level water and air hygiene division service to all CES Clients.

This role is within a medium-sized water hygiene division, offering the opportunity to build upon their experience, progress their career and gain extensive experience within a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Risk Assessor Manager, the Legionella Risk Assessor will be responsible for undertaking legionella risk assessments, risk assessment reviews and surveys on a wide variety of water systems and will require a good understanding of both commercial and domestic water systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all risk assessment reports and their satisfactory completion and quality checking, prior to issue.

Must Haves:

* At least 1 year risk assessing experience City and Guilds Qualification.

* A detailed working knowledge of the HSE’s ACoP L8 HSG274 and HTM 04-01.

* An excellent understanding of Water Regulations and hold an appropriate certificate.

* Full Driving Licence.

Person specification: Skills and abilities:

* Effective communication with good interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organization, and with 3rd parties.

* An ability to proactively identify problems and make decisions, taking appropriate action to a resolution.

* An ability to attain an accurate and consistent standard of service.

* An ability to work on own initiative and positively as a team member.

* Computer literacy, with the ability to effectively use the Microsoft Office package and bespoke software/databases.

Role description Key responsibilities:

* To carry out Legionella Risk assessments, reviews and surveys in line with company procedures and method statements.

* Ensure all survey forms and work records (electronic system based) are complete and accurate.

* Assist with technical development of the risk assessment document.

* Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and recorded and are complete and accurate.

* Ensure all arrangements for visits with clients are made in a timely and professional manner.

* Provide full support to Service Manager, as and when required.

* Any other reasonable tasks as required.

Candidate:

Ideally looking for a senior. Candidates will be required to assess more complex, larger building. Dealing with hot and cold-water systems. A more junior-mid will focus on smaller buildings and just the standard water systems, for example.

Bonus Structure:

£50 bonus per lead.

Overtime is available - time and half on Saturdays, double time Sundays.
