Renewables Engineer (Heat Pump Engineer)

Our client is a friendly, local installer of gas & heating systems, including renewable energy technology who have been established for over 30 years. With a well-established client base around Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas, they have a thriving engineering division that requires a new Renewables Engineer (Heat Pump Engineer)

Responsibilities:

Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine optimal placement and configuration of heat pump units.
Installing, commissioning, and testing heat pump systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with existing heat pump systems, and implementing effective solutions.
Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.
Providing technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
Keeping accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, equipment specifications, and service reports.
Staying up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in heat pump engineering.

Qualifications

You will have at least 3-year experience as Renewable Energy Heating Engineer, who is proficient/ qualified in the following areas: -
F Gas certified (or equivalent)
17th or 18th Edition regulations
Experience of heat pumps, solar thermal, air & water pumps, biomass boilers
Service, maintenance and fault finding duties
Experience in working with Daikin and/or Mitsubishi equipment (or equivalent)
A valid driving license is also required as travel around the Bristol/ Bath and surrounding areas is required

In return, my client are offering a salary of up to £42k with overtime available + vehicle+ fuel card
