Class Teacher - Bovey Tracey Academy (Learning Academy Partnership)

Part Time, 0.2 FTE

Salary: Main Teachers Pay Scale

Required for September 2024.

The Learning Academy Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Class Teacher to join our Trust, based in our gorgeous Bovey Tracey Academy for one day per week.

The post is fixed term until 31st August 2025.

Lying at the heart of the community, the Academy is situated within the historic market town of Bovey Tracey framed by the stunning backdrop of Dartmoor. Bovey Tracey is just a 30-minute drive from Exeter and under an hour from Torbay. There is a real sense of community where we aim to ensure that all our children have the best start in life and can flourish in all they do.

At Bovey we aim to provide every child with a rich and engaging curriculum; we maximise our rural location and enjoy fantastic outdoor learning including forest school areas where a wealth of natural resources makes learning fun and awe-inspiring for all children. We provide a range of experiences and opportunities that are fully rooted in our values and local community.

By working together with our Hub schools, we share best practice and expertise to enable all children to live life to the fullest, regardless of their starting point. We are proud that we are a single organisation with a shared responsibility for all children, and one where you will feel professionally nourished through our extensive development practice and strong wellbeing offer.

We are looking for a Class Teacher to inspire our children and foster a love of learning. Our ideal candidate will be someone who is driven by our mission and wants to be part of a Trust where everything begins and ends with children. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will work alongside a highly passionate team to ensure children are cared for and challenged, removing barriers to learning so every child can flourish, no matter their starting point.

We are dedicated to building an authentic workforce and we encourage applications from people from all backgrounds and aim to have a workforce that represents the wider communities that we serve. We champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing and aim to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and a sense of belonging.

Our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together, a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish.
