A great opportunity to join a family-owned Civil Engineering business with a turnover more than £70M and over 600 staff. My client has built a reputation for delivering highway infrastructure projects for the public sector and for private clients, to budget and on programme. They are experiencing sustained growth and have stability of work from several highways’ frameworks.
As Sub Agent you will:
* Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements, permits etc
* Ensure all quality documentation is completed to company standards
* Manage the Site Engineers, resolving any technical queries, liaising with the main contractor representatives
* Reporting into senior management on programme regarding performance and progress.
* Resolve difficulties and problems which may arise
* Supervising and leading a site team and sub-contractors
Our client requires a Sub Agent with:
* HNC/Degree or in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Experience of working in a similar position for a Civils contractor
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Can-do attitude, able to meet fixed deadlines and manage risk
* SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS card
Salary/Benefits:
* £40,000 - £47,000 per annum
* Company car or car allowance
* Company benefits package including paid annual leave, company pension etc.
