Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber
Location: Cardiff, South Wales.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £35k + Training + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber in the South Wales region to join a family run Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company. This role would suit someone who has extensive experience carrying out L8 monitoring and remedial plumbing duties across Commercial, Domestic and Residential sites ensuring to maintain the company's reputation and high standards of work. This role would be beneficial for someone who is looking to join a smaller company with a close-knit feel. Experience & Qualifications:
" Proven track record working as an engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company.
" Must hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing.
" Extensive experience working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to organise workload in line with company and client needs.
" Good IT skills.
The Role:
" Water sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" Deadleg removals.
" Rerouting, removing, and replacing pipework (PVC / Copper).
" Visiting site carrying out checks on plumbing work and signing off upon completion.
" TMV servicing and failsafes.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Cleans and disinfections of CWSTs.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
" Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
