The role:
You will be responsible for Operational performance of the OpInsp, the role will execute the strategy to ensure achievement of annual budgets in accordance with policy deployment targets. You will engage with OpInsp employees and effectively develop this human resource to ensure the business are considered an employer of choice, while ensuring the wellbeing of employees through exemplary leadership.
The role will maintain brand value through delivery of excellence in customer satisfaction. You will promote the effective application of business processes, ensure the highest levels of HSE standards are met, while assuring compliance to regulatory and third-party requirements. The role will also support cross-VS cooperation and best practice sharing. The role will be 20% administrative and 80% hands-on production.
What you will need:
• Proven management skills and sound knowledge of HS & E requirements.
• Experience in and an understanding of surface treatment technology and specifications.
• To be customer focussed and driven to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• An experienced and effective leader with an engineering environment background.
• Strong teamworking ethic with ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
Experience & Knowledge:
• Possession of natural leadership attributes.
• High performing team participation.
• Demonstrated adherence to schedules and delivery of plans.
• Familiar with Lean sigma principles, trained to white belt level or equivalent.
• Thorough understanding of HS & E legislation requirements.
• Working understanding of external regulatory body accreditations (eg) NADCAP, AS9100 Rev D, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 etc
