Behaviour Mentor | Birmingham, B66 | £95 - £105 Per Day | Full Time, Term Time Only | Long Term - Permanent | April Start
LTF Recruitment are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join a primary school located in the Birmingham B66 area. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual prepared to work with students on a 1-1 basis or in small groups to support their learning and development. The school provides a welcoming and inclusive environment, with a 'Good' Ofsted rating. The successful candidate will support learners to reach their full potential, regardless of the barriers that they may face.
Post Objective: To provide support to promote individual students' progress, both academically and pastorally in a primary school setting.
Job description:
Work with individuals and small groups, ensuring that each child has equal access to equal education opportunities.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and deliver support by developing strategies that promote positive behavioural outcomes.
Work to adapt learning to meet the individual needs of students.
Develop and deliver workshops for students with behavioural, social and emotional difficulties.
Foster positive relationships with students and staffRequirements:
Previous experience of working in a school environment or support based setting
Experience of managing challenging behaviours and good knowledge of behaviour management strategies
Be confident in your ability to build relationships with students and staff
