Temporary to Permanent Laboratory Technician
Monday - Friday - 06:00am-14:00pm // 14:00pm- 22:00pm
Pay rate: £12.00 per hour - £13.00 per hour depending on experience
Are you a skilled laboratory technician searching for an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to a dynamic team? Look no further! We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dedicated team in North Birmingham.
As a laboratory technician, you will play a vital role in our production process. Your primary responsibility will be to perform quality inspection and to maintain accurate records of the production process for alcohol products.
Responsibilities of Laboratory Technician:
" Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained in a good condition
" Maintaining accurate training and production records using SAP systems
" Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the laboratory, reporting to the Laboratory Team Leader or Quality Manager
" Developing good product knowledge to perform tailored quality inspection
" Staying on top of cleaning processes to guarantee quality
Requirements for Laboratory Technician:
" Scientific background, with qualifications of A-Level or equivalent
" Minimum 6 - 12 months experience using SAP systems
" Keen attention to detail for quality inspection
" Excellent communication and teamwork skills
" Able to work with alcohol and alcohol products
