Role Overview:
As an Assistant Planning Officer, you will manage your own caseload and work within one of the small teams that make up our client's experienced Development Management service. You will be responsible for processing planning and related applications under the direction of the Development Managers. This includes site appraisals, research, negotiations, report writing, occasional presentations at planning committees, and appeal work.
You will regularly interact with applicants, agents, members of the public, and other service users. Therefore, excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders are essential, along with a commitment to delivering outstanding service to all customers.

* Applicants without a suitable qualification will be expected to complete a course of study leading to a professional qualification as a condition of employment.
