***£30,000 per annum
***Permanent- September 2024 start
***Teaching the GCSE science curriculum to KS3 and KS4 students.
***Completing your induction alongside an experienced and nurturing SLT.

Requirements:

At least a bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
Completed- or completing a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong knowledge of scientific concepts.
Ability to use your knowledge to aid the understanding of students.
A welcoming, friendly personality, with the natural ability to build strong bonds with students.
Clear, concise communication style and coherent spoken English.
Dedication to the education and wellbeing of secondary school students.
Commitment to following strict safeguarding policies. 
The Role:
As a Science ECT, you will…

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the national curriculum.
Assess classwork and provide constructive feedback.
Monitor student progress to identify any additional support needs.
Adapt learning materials to suit the needs of individual students.
Lead parents’ evening meetings.
Organise extra-curricular activities to extend students’ passion for science beyond the classroom.
