Our client is a long-established Engineering Business that design, manufacture and install fabrications into a variety of sectors across the UK.
Manufacturing from a workshop in Widnes and predominately a site in the centre of Warrington, you would be required to be flexible in your working location.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now urgently looking for experienced Fabricators to join their team. The ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work independently and efficiently.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, fabrication and welding work.
Responsibilities:
• Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions
• Taking part in product development meetings
• Verifying dimensions and product specifications
• Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present
• Marking cutting lines on materials
• Ensuring that all the parts are properly fitted and aligned.
• Ensuring that all quality standards are met
• Maintaining the production schedule and managing key stakeholders’ expectations
• Testing products for functionality
• Troubleshooting and stress testing the products
• Reporting and detailing product malfunctions
ESSENTIAL Requirements:
• Fabricating Experience
• MIG or TIG Welding experience would be advantageous
