Masstemps Ltd, a well-known recruitment agency, is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Steel Operative for a temp-to-perm position on behalf of a client. The job is located in the bustling area of Walsall, which is known for its thriving industries and job opportunities.
The company that the successful candidate will work for is growing rapidly and is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual who can join their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate should be punctual, detail-oriented, and have a proven track record of maintaining good attendance and timekeeping.
The Steel Operative will be required to undertake a variety of tasks within the workplace, and therefore, the candidate should be flexible in their approach and have excellent teamwork skills. The role will involve using an overhead crane, measuring and cutting steel accurately using a tape measure, operating slitting machines, and preparing steel for dispatch. While not essential, desirable skills include banding up steel and forklift counterbalance experience.

The working hours are from 06:00 am – 14:00 pm or 14:00 pm – 22:00 pm, and the rate of pay is competitive at £12.00ph - £13.75ph.
