Mechanical Technician / Warwick / Up to £36,000 per annum
Join a leading engineering organisation in the assembly of low volume, high-value driveline systems.
As a Mechanical Technician, you'll assemble complex, high-precision mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems. You'll work as part of a team to achieve objectives, communicate effectively with customers, and solve problems logically.
Location / Hours:
You'll be based close to Warwick, 5 days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be close via public transport links. Free parking available.
Mon - Thur (7:00 - 3:30), Friday (7:00 - 12:30)
Mechanical Technician Responsibilities
Working with accuracy to complex engineering drawings
Following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Using a variety of handheld tools for assembly
Testing and inspecting the quality of your own work and performing quality checks
Use Microsoft Excel to track work completed
Mechanical Technician Requirements
Experience in complex mechanical assembly
Must be able to read engineering drawings to a high level
Experienced with mechanical hand tools (Torques, Spanners, Hammers etc)
Aptitude for precision measurement and manual measurement equipment.
Intermediate PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
