Are you an experienced and dynamic educator ready to take on a rewarding leadership role?

Do you have a passion for working with students across all year groups, from EYFS to Year 6? We are seeking a confident and versatile Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team and support teaching and learning across our vibrant school community.

This opportunity will begin in September and is based on a temporary – permanent contract.

About the Role:

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across all year groups, from EYFS to Year 6.
You will lead classes and small group sessions, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Approximately 2 out of 5 days will be spent specifically supporting EYFS classes, providing essential support and guidance during this crucial stage of early development.
You will work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

Qualified HLTA status or equivalent experience is essential.
Proven experience working across multiple year groups, with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and experience supporting early years learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Confidence and versatility in leading whole-class teaching sessions, small group interventions, and one-on-one support.
A passion for education and a commitment to promoting the holistic development of every child.
