Since then, ‘The British Motorsport Company’ has enjoyed rapid expansion; scaling up production to support global exports, running multiple successful domestic championships and expanding its offering with supporting brands including Want2race, Blyton Park and Sim Track.
About the role:
We are looking to recruit a MIG Welder to join our team.
Key responsibilities include:
* M.I.G welder/fabricator to work in the Fabrication Department
* To assist the fabrication team with the build schedule of fabricated components
* To manufacture components using technical drawings
* M.I.G weld mild steel
* Sub-assembly of fabricated components including use of jigs
* Basic T.I.G welding ability is beneficial but not essential
* In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by Group management from time to time.
Suitable Candidate will have:
* Basic mechanical knowledge
* Passionate and enthusiastic about Motorsport is beneficial but not essential
* Self-motivated
* Excellent communication and interaction skills
* Attention to detail
* Keen to leave a lasting impact on the wider business.
* Positive attitude towards helping in and around the factory as required.
* Someone who wants to play an integral part in building/growing a strong operation
* Someone who wants to develop their career with a progressive business.
