Are you passionate about nurturing the growth and development of young learners?

We are seeking a dedicated Nurture Teaching Assistant to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting a new cohort of reception pupils starting in September.

About the Role:

As a Nurture Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our reception class teacher and SENCO to provide nurturing support to pupils with additional needs, including communication and interaction difficulties and SEND.
You will foster a caring and inclusive learning environment, supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
Your role will involve providing one-on-one support, implementing nurture-based interventions, and facilitating positive peer interactions.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children as they embark on their educational journey.
This position will be a long-term temporary contract starting in September, with the opportunity to take on a permanent position within the school.

Requirements:

Experience working with young children, particularly those with developmental delays and additional needs, is highly desirable.
Experience working in a school environment as a teaching assistant, paired with knowledge of the primary/EYFS curriculum, is highly desirable.
A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or SEND support is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
