Are you passionate about making a positive impact on students with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to join our team in Leeds on a maternity cover basis starting in September.

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (negotiable)
Daily Rate: Negotiable depending upon experience

As a SENCO, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored support necessary for their academic and personal growth. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the provision for students with special educational needs
Assess students' needs and develop individualised support plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to implement support strategies
Monitor student progress and adjust support plans accordingly
Stay updated on relevant policies and practices in special educationRequirements:

Qualified SENCO with relevant experience (QTS desirable)
Strong understanding of special educational needs and inclusive practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
