Multitask Personnel are recruiting Industrial Maintenance Electricians for a well established Electrical Engineering Contractor. They have been serving several industry sectors across the UK for the past 25 years and our client has developed a superb reputation for excellent service. The Maintenance Electricians will be working on a wide range of industrial electrical projects such as quarry or pharmaceutical.
The Maintenance Electricians (compex trained) will work at the customer site as part of the project maintenance team and complete the electrical tasks assigned by the Project Leader/Supervisor.
The Maintenance Electricians will be diligent in observing all site rules and H&S regulations and, if in doubt, be confident enough to stop and seek advice from the Supervisor.
The Maintenance Electricians will also be maintaining control equipment, MCCs, isolators, distribution boards, e-stops, various instrumentation (rotation sensors, level sensors etc.) and industrial single-phase and 3-phase Star and Delta motors
Qualifications & Experience:
The Maintenance Electrician will be ECS registered and fully qualified including AM2
The Maintenance Electrician will be BS7671 18th or 17th edition Wiring Regulations qualified
The Maintenance Electrician must C&G 2391
The Maintenance Electrician will have a full UK Driving Licence
The Maintenance Electrician must have a background in Aggregates, Cement, Mining, Rail, Water or other heavy industry
The Maintenance Electrician must be compex trained in dust, gas and vapour
Package:
Pension - NEST Scheme, 4% company contribution
Holidays - 24 days per year + 8 Statutory
Vehicle - Van provided if undertaking multi-site work
Fuel - Business miles fuel card with van
Monday to Friday each week – JIB Rates
Overtime paid after 40 hours (Weekdays x1.5, Sat x2, Sunday x3)
Place of Work - Project sites
Business Tools Provided - All PPE, specialist tools & testers
