Are you looking to join a forward-thinking and adaptable accounts team? Sewell Wallis is partnering with a client in search of an experienced transactional accounting professional. In this role, you'll be part of a team of five, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the following finance areas:

Sales Ledger and Invoicing
Purchase Ledger 3-way matching and payment runs
GRNI / Accruals
Cash flow and Banking
Monthly close processes
Time recording, including overtime calculations
Cost Centre Reporting
Collaboration with internal and external audit teams
Intercompany balance agreements with the group accounting team
Accounting in a manufacturing environment (e.g., utilisation, waste, KPI definition and measurement, efficiency, continuous improvement initiatives)
Assisting the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end accounts preparation
Understanding of Balance Sheet, P&L, and Reporting
Assisting the Finance Manager with quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and 5-year planning exercises
Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office (a new ERP system is being implemented)If you're interested in this opportunity, apply below!
