Imaging Service Engineer

As a Imaging Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing Planned Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on high-level diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment within a healthcare facility. Your role will involve assisting in the installation and planning of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting on-going Planned Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment.
- Meeting target objectives for timeliness and quality of maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Ordering parts and supplies for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Coordinating repairs with vendors and users, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Providing training to clinical staff on equipment use and safety.
- Participating in on-call service coverage after normal business hours.
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assisting the Clinical Engineering (CE) team with equipment repairs and maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Sciences Degree in a related field or equivalent military training and experience.
- Five or more years of experience in maintenance of imaging equipment.
- Specialized training in areas such as CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, etc.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, radiation physics, and imaging service techniques.
- Understanding of regulations and standards related to clinical equipment service and repair.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
