Basic Description:
A successful applicant in this role would develop, measure, monitor, and maintain online marketplace listing content for assigned Accessory Power branded products. Associates are charged with monitoring sales data and deploying data-directed ongoing updates to your listing content. The primary goal is to identify positive patterns and trends within sales data and then work to develop and deploy strategies to create additional sales based on that analysis. Additional responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and delivering reports on customer feedback, expanded marketplace opportunities, and product functionality that may help improve existing product and grow new branded product lines. A successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Research, analyze, and draw well informed conclusions regarding consumer behavior and market requirements for new or existing products within assigned product categories.
Create marketplace product advertisements and online listings by creating original ad copy compatible with style guides and complete with relevant key-words, compatibility information, visuals, thorough descriptions, and technical product specifications.
Measure the success of existing marketing campaigns to perform data-driven updates and improvements to master creative content as needed to grow sales.
Collaborate with other eCom team members to create and triage assigned product category listings and sponsored campaigns across multiple marketplaces.
Collaborate with the Art Department to develop compelling marketing elements for product listings and advertising campaigns.
Deliver customer and marketplace analysis to assist with the development of future product marketing strategies.
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
Education: BA in business, marketing, communications or related fields of study.
Deep problem solving skills and enthusiasm to introduce new solutions and streamline processes.
Strong bias for action with ability to prioritize, multi-task, tenaciously follow-up, and meet competing deadlines.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP), Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strength and interest in analytics and data interpretation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others both internally and externally.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years professional experience with consumer-products marketing, PPC, AdWords, or e-commerce / Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience.
Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
A genuine interest in technology and consumer electronics. (photography, gaming, computers)
Experience with online marketplace consumer products e-marketing.
Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems such as identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs.
Experience with software collaboration, project management, or other digital organizational tools. (Asana, Slab)
Benefits
Pay range: $38,000 - $43,000 per year.
This is a full-time position that reports daily to our Westlake Village, CA headquarters.
