Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and objectives
- Oversee all aspects of the HR function including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, and external partners
- Manage and mentor HR staff to ensure a high level of performance and professional development
- Partner with senior leadership to identify and address HR needs and challenges
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives to create a positive and inclusive work environment
- Lead and support organizational change and development efforts
- Manage HR budget and resources effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives
- Experience in managing and developing a team of HR professionals
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
